MLM Success Training- The MLM Success Secrets of Warm Market Leads

Author: Doug Firebaugh

by Doug Firebaugh

In order to start your business, you must do what is called a ""Memory Jogger"", which is a list of names of people that you know that you will call or contact to tell about your products or mlm business.

Most folks that do a memory Jogger in mlm, or makes a names List, find that they have some difficulty coming up with the names. The Network marketing Company you have partnered with should provide you with a list of ""Triggers"" that will trigger your mind of people that you know.

INFERNO Secret:

It is a Psychological Fact that if you are 25 years or older, you know 1000 people.

You have just forgotten most of them, so you need a reminder of them. That is the purpose for a Network Marketing Memory Jogger.

The list could contain names of family, occupations, associations, plus many more. You need to look at the list and come up with as many names as you can.

A list would look something like this:

Mother Father Sisters Brothers Cousins Neighbors Friends Church Accountants Bankers Attorneys Builders Construction workers Communication workers Car Salesman Coaches Dancers Electrical workers Engineers Fireman Florists Flooring Sales Jewelers Karate Instructors Life Insurance Sales Legal Assistants Machine Shop workers Retail Sales clerks

Etc.

You get the idea.

But you must come up with at least 50 names the first attempt.

This will give you what I call a ""Working Inventory"".

Inferno Secret:

Your REAL Inventory is NOT the products or Services your company sells. It is PEOPLE.

And you MUST have people to talk to about what you are doing. Many folks who start out have way too few names, and then complain that they have no one to talk to. Think of everyone you know WITHOUT judging their interest level, and write their name down. Use the Memory Jogger provided by your network marketing company, and do it with your upline. It will become a very important part of your beginning success in MLM.

INFERNO Secret:

Use the ""Follow your Dollar"" strategy to come up with names for your warm market list. WHO are you spending money with to live your life and purchase things for you and your family?

Who is your Insurance Agent?

Who did you buy your car from?

Who do you buy your clothes from?

Who sold you your house?

Who do you buy your airline tickets from?

Whose your doctor?

Who does your taxes?

Who is your Dentist?

Are you starting to get the point?

There are people you do business with. You need to let them know you could use their help in your new network marketing enterprise.

Say, ""I think you would agree that I do a lot of business with you, and I need your help with my new enterprise.""

INFERNO Secret:

To DOUBLE the size of any Memory Jogger, you need to ask a question.

""Who do you know that they know?""

This will double the size of any Names List you can potentially come up with.

Doing a Memory Jogger is important to your getting off to a good start in Network Marketing. Make sure you do it and follow the suggestions your company recommends for massive MLM and Network Marketing Success.

God Bless you,

doug

What Is Network Marketing?

Author: kevin quigley

To begin with, the concept behind network marketing is simple. Sharing - through product or business philosophy - is the basis of network marketing.

Network marketing is a multi-billion pound industry involving millions of independent business people around the globe. Large companies like Gillette, Colgate-Palmolive, Kleeneze Europe, AT&T and others, have all turned to network marketing because of the very real edge it gives them in both domestic and international marketing.

Network marketing is a 'BIG' small business, which offers everyone, with or without business experience, the opportunity to start and run a home-based business that works. It is the last frontier where 'the little guy', (people like you and me) can make it BIG.

NETWORK MARKETING Vs TRADITIONAL MARKETING

The traditional way of marketing products is to move them from a manufacturer through a network of middlemen. National Wholesalers, regional wholesalers, Cash & Carry warehouses, retailers, - the 'middlemen' - all add their 'valueless' percentage to the price of the product.

By the time the product or service reaches you, the end user, you're not only paying for the product, but a percentage of the price for each and every middleman in the network.

In network marketing there are no middlemen. Instead of paying them, a network marketing company will pay you for whatever amount of product you cause to be 'moved'.

As a sole individual operating alone, the amount of product or service provision you could 'move' from your own efforts, would be relatively small. In network marketing however, the amount you 'caused' to be moved indirectly could be huge.

Here then is the essence of a network marketing compensation plan. For not only will you be compensated for the product or service provision you personally cause to be moved from your own direct efforts, you will also receive indirect compensation for the product or service provision that your 'organisation' 'causes' to be moved.

YOUR 'ORGANISATION'

To be successful in network marketing you will need to build an 'organisation'. That is to say you will need to 'share' the benefits of both the products/service provision and the business opportunity with others. In network marketing this is referred to as your 'downline'.

The 'serious' money to be had in network marketing is to be had from what is termed as 'over-ride' commissions from the 'movement' of product or service provision from the 'downline' your 'sponsor' will help you to build.(In network marketing it is the responsibility of your introducing 'sponsor' to help you build your 'downline'.)

All you need to do initially to build a 'downline' is to 'share' with others the information about the products or service provision and the business opportunity on offer.

Theoretically, if after 'sharing' the information with others and you subsequently attracted just five SERIOUS individuals who decided to join you in your network marketing business - for illustration purposes only - your 'downline' could equate to the following after five levels of geometric growth:

7 Easy Ways to Make More Money in Network Marketing

7 Easy Ways to Make More Money in Network Marketing

Hit a snag lately? Haven't been able to recruit any new agents? Is you network marketing job paying less and less because you can't generate any sales? You don't have to fret! With these easy network marketing tips, you can revitalize your sales pitch and methods in no time at all!

1. Contacts

Remember that your contacts are your most valuable asset. Who are your contacts? The people you see on the streets? Your next door neighbor?

When considering whom to invite, try those closest to you first. This is because they are most likely to be more open to your suggestions and will be willing to do you a few favors (such as buying that detergent you are hawking). The great thing about this is that they will really mind plunking a few bucks to help jumpstart your business. And when they see that you are doing well, they could very well join you as well.

When you run through the whole list of you clan, what will that leave you with? You will of course have to go to those people that next in line with regards to closeness or affinity to you. And what if that gives out too?

You can always adopt a friendlier stance and chat up that neighbor you never talked to. You could meet new people on the bus and on the train. But remember, you have to like them as people first. Don't go about and look at them like walking piggy banks. People will know if they are being looked upon as 'things.' Always regard them highly and get to know them. Build their trust. The truth is, the friendships you build will be the true reward, and the sales will be just a side dish.

Always ask for referrals from your contacts. This is another sure way to increase your prospects.

2. Believe

If you yourself do not believe in your product, chances are you won't be able to sell it to others. Remember, nothing promotes a product better that a satisfied customer. Let others see you using the product. Say glowing things about it. And most of all, let all that you say be true. If your customer finds out you weren't being honest, you could ruin your business relationship.

When you choose a network business, take into consideration their product. See if you can believe in it and pitch for it effectively.

3. Recruit the right people

Don't just recruit anybody. Make sure the people you recruit share an unbridled passion, and tireless work ethic with like you. If you don't chances are, they will drop out of the networking business and you will not be able to build your downline.

4. Don't force the issue

When trying to close a sale, don't force the issue. If you do, people will get suspicious as to why you are doing so. Are selling them counterfeit items? Are you only interested in your profit and not in your customer's satisfaction? Always keep this in mind: the customer always comes first. Please them, and the profits and windfall from these relationships will follow.

5. Look the part

When recruiting others, you can't say, ""You will get rich with network marketing,"" and look shabby all the while. They'd say, ""I thought you got rich from this thing, why do you look like you didn't."" People will want to see a visible sign of success. You are their only reference point. If you are not convincing as a successful networking agent,

6. Hang in there

Perseverance is a virtue. If money grew on trees, you'd still have to wait for them to grow. Remember the old adage: try and try, until you succeed. Remember that your goal is not to just to get money, but to build upon a good income generating business.

7. Evolve

Don't be satisfied thinking that your techniques at recruiting will forever be effective. Although there are basic principles that should be followed, you can forever improve on your techniques. Today's society is constantly evolving. If you want to catch up with them, you have to evolve in your marketing strategies as well.

Try 'Em

Try these tips. They are sure to give you more confidence in your network marketing strategy!

How to avoid the top 5 time wasting activities in your internet mlm home business

Author: Joel Teo

Many people love to build their internet mlm business from home on a part time basis. Therefore because it is part time so you need to really be very focused before you can earn serious amounts of money. This article highlights 5 major time wasters in any internet mlm business and explains how you can avoid them somewhat.

Paralysis by analysis Any one who has been building an internet mlm business for sometime will have realized by now that there are 101 internet mlm business ventures online. Most if not all of them have the same concept or rewarding those who refer more people than others. A good idea would be to spend time finding one program that has a monthly payment fee that is acceptable to you and work hard to build that business.

There will always be greener pastures out there and unless you focus and learn what it takes to build one business, you will always be running off to the next best thing without making any money online in your internet mlm home business.

Cold lead calling An internet home based business has the advantage of online lead generation. If you are not using an automated followup system you are seriously wasting a lot of time. Link an automated followup system to your landing page for whatever business venture you want to be involved in and then once someone signs up, your system goes to work and helps them get started.

There is only one of you and if you were to spend time calling cold leads that you purchased off the internet, you might as well join an offline mlm business. Focus your time on generating more targeted website traffic to your internet landing page and start seeing more targeted signups and visitors to your business.

Get rich quick schemes There are many types of scams online. Some of them promise you that you will start making money quickly online. The problem with this is that those that do promise you fast riches also tend to be ponzi scams that run off with your money. You are therefore better off if you spent your time focusing on mlm business ventures and working to promote them. The top internet marketers like Stone Evans, he develops profitable business websites and then spends his energy promoting these websites.

Its all about promotion really in any internet home business. The more leads and people you generate from your promotions the more money you make. Teach your downline this and you will find them thanking you a lot later.

Million Hits Traffic Generation schemes Following from the previous point, some people therefore think that the more website traffic the better their sales. They end up joining some traffic generation scheme and spent their day clicking on traffic exchanges. Personally I think this is a waste of time if you do not do it correctly. Everyone on such exchanges is a business owner and therefore unless you can show your business is better than theirs, you will not get any signups.

Others waste time by purchasing million hits from companies that claim to sell website traffic. These typically are popunder and popup advertising. Most people today online are tired and sick of such ads and as a result their effectiveness online has been dropping.

What works then? Article marketing and Pay Per Click Advertising. Spend time online reading about these two methods and you will start making money online.

Molly cuddling downlines The very basis of an internet home based business is that you want to get downlines who are serious in building a business. You want to attract people who can work on their own and make money on their own. Spending time managing your downlines is the biggest mistake any internet mlm business owner will do as your downlines will start emulating you and your business will not work. Your downlines should be spending their efforts on promotion and not managing the business as this is the basis of network marketing. Teach them that you treat promotion daily as an important thing to do and ask them to do likewise to build their internet mlm business.

In conclusion, like Steven Covey states, first things first. Like any top CEO of a company, spend time on profit making activities first and other less important things second. Take massive action today on the ""right things"" and start seeing massive profits online.

Network Marketing Training- The MLM Success Secrets of Explaining Your MLM Comp Plan

Author: Doug Firebaugh

Money.

That is what drives the MLM industry. The quest for a better life, a better future, and a better income.

Why did you join your network marketing company?

For something to do?

Yeah -- right.

That is why 99% of all folks who enroll in MLM companies join -- for a better lifestyle. And the hope of making more money is what drives the network marketing industry.

Every MLM company has a way they pay their distributors, known as a ""Compensation Plan."" Or ""Comp Plan"". Your company has one and that is how you are paid, by the volume you have created by the Comp Plan.

You go out, and create Volume of sales, and you get a certain percentage of the sales. Most plans focus on the sale, or movement of mlm products and services to the marketplace, and that is what drives the wealth vehicle of network marketing.

There are different types of Network Marketing Comp Plans, and there are many more Hybrid forms.

But generally there are 5 different types, and you need to really understand the Plan that your network marketing company has.

The 5 Basic Kinds of MLM Compensation Plans are:

1)The Stairstep 2)The Unilevel 3)The Binary 4)The Breakaway 5)The Matrix

1)The Stairstep

The Stairstep is a simple plan that has requirements that you must meet to get up the ""Stairs of Success."" Each stairstep is a promotion based on Volume usually, and each promotion you make more money. Usually you must qualify each month for the rank you obtain to get paid at that rank. And the stairstep usually has a number of levels it pays down to.

2)The Unilevel

The Unilevel is a simple ""Number of levels"" that the MLM company will pay you, and usually there is no promotion or rank. You make money by getting a certain override off of the volume, and usually there is a requirement of volume to qualify for a check. Most affilaite programs operate this way.

3)The Binary.

The Binary is an interesting design for a Comp Plan. It usually has 2 ""legs"" that you can have ""Business centers"" in, and you have a volume requirement to get paid on each leg. There is what is called ""balance"" in the Binary. You must balance in some form the volume from each leg to make sure you don't have a runaway leg. One leg explodes, while the other one sits idle. You must balance the two, and you usually can override the same volume a number of times with different business centers.

4)The Breakaway.

Some forms of this plan have become somewhat unpopular in the industry, as you can lose the business in a leg you build, once it gets to a certain level of success, and it ""breaks away"" to no longer be a part of what you get paid on. Some other forms do not have this feature -- you can keep your business in every leg, even if it gets to the breakaway point. Depends on the type of stairstep you are usiing. It usually is a stairstep type of Plan, but I have seen it in others as well.

5)The Matrix

The matrix is a computer driven plan that people are placed into your group by computer, and they go in the next available slot. Usually this plan is combined with some form of a Binary, and it does work well if there are a lot of people that are recruited. When you recruit someone, the computer searches down for the next open slot, and positions them there. There are some plans that allow you to override the computer's selection if you want them to go a particular place in your downline.

Ok...so now you must see what kind of plan you have. See your upline if you have any questions at all, and get familiar with the plan you have and how it works.

INFERNO Secret:

DO NOT get too complicated on telling the mlm plan to someone. Keep it simple and make sure they understand that they CAN MAKE MONEY with it, as that is their greatest concern.

They are thinking, ""Can I make money with this? And is anyone else doing it?""

Generally, when you talk about an MLM Comp Plan, you will want to mention 4 general areas about it that many people will want to know about.

1)The First area is Retail Profit.

You must show the prospect that they can earn a retail profit with your products and services...usually it about 40- 50%...

2)The Second Area is Team Overrides.

This is where, just like a Real Estate broker, or Insurance Broker, you can develop a team of Reps and help them become successful, and get paid a certain % of override off of them, just like the Real Estate and Insurance Brokers do. You are sort of a ""Master Broker"" for your company, and help others do the same thing. This is where most people have trouble with MLM. They don't understand that what we do is just like a Real Estate or Insurance Broker, only better.

3)The Third Area is Leadership Bonuses.

This is where you help develop Successful Network Marketing leaders in your group, and you get an additional bonus or override from your group. You get rewarded by helping others develop their Leadership -- the most fair compensation in the world.

4)The Fourth Area are Rewards -- like trips and cars.

This area is a favorite among Network Marketers. Once you have reached a level of success, many companies will give you an additional car payment money, and also take you on trips that you can qualify for -- a great incentive to work!!!

Be sure you understand the components of your MLM Comp Plan. This was just a VERY General Overview, and that is all.

Again.....KEEP THE Network Marketing Comp PLAN SIMPLE.

The More Simple you keep it, the more powerful it becomes, as does your MLM and Network Marketing Success!

blessings...doug

Chain of Fools

Author: J Square Humboldt

It seems the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval has been replaced by Oprah Winfrey when it comes to a validation of credibility ...

Having said that, if I'm not mistaken, all the former ever meant was that the product or service in question paid to advertise in Good Housekeeping magazine.

Still, in the vast anonymity of the cybermarket, a claim of credibility is vital to those who wish to convince us to send them money. Via her phenomenonally successful syndicated television show, Ms Winfrey's excellence at accurately portraying causes, incidents and situations has earned her a lofty mantle as the Anointess of Authenticity.

We can even see this phenomenon at work on the Longer Life Group's website that hosts my column, as there are products advertised which espouse her name. That's fine, of course, as it's easy for us to discern that the claims of these products are real in that respect (eg- Bob Greene really is her personal trainer). They are, no doubt, good products. If I ever feel the need to lose ten pounds in thirty days, I'll give them a try.

However, in the wild world of cyber-commerce, it seems that some salesmen decided to take a shortcut in this process. They figured it was good enough to merely claim their product was featured on Oprah.

As you've maneuvered through the spam and detritus of cyberspace, it's odds-on you've seen this headline:

'As Seen On Oprah! Teenager Makes $71,000 by Mailing a Simple Letter!'

The sales pitch relates the tale of a kid who diligently sent God-knows-how-many chain letters and wound up with a closetful of $10 bills, or something like that. The pitch goes on to state that this story was also featured on an American newsmagazine, 20/20, and featured in the Wall Street Journal. However, those outlets are merely there for support. It's Oprah that gives this story 'legs,' as they say in the movie business.

The object of the exercise is to induce you to buy into the chain by sending money to one or more of the names on a five-deep list, then removing the top name and adding your name to the bottom, so you can take your turn at collecting all that cash. You're surely aware of the drill.

In theory, this works to an exponential level. Then again, in theory, so does communism in mass society.

Need I say more?

From my research, it's false. Untrue. Never happened.

I went straight to the source and posed the question to the staff of Oprah, asking if any teenager ever appeared on the show and told how his chain letter made him $71,000 or more. Here's the e-mail I received:

""Date: 10 Oct 09:04

""Dear Viewer,

""We don't find any Oprah Show that talked about anyone making a fortune on a chain letter. References to chain letters include the cabbage soup diet, Mrs. Fields cookies and the Angel Network.""

""Thank you,

""Oprah Tapes and Transcripts""

While I do admit a temptation to start a chain letter in hopes of receiving sackfuls of Mrs Fields' cookies by associating it with a real e-mail from Oprah's staff --- after which I would click on that ad featuring Bob Greene so I could buy his weight-loss program --- my common sense tells me that it just wouldn't work.

Still, the purpose of making such claims is to attempt to override your common sense, to get you to think that if Oprah gave credence to the story, then perhaps there is something to it. So, when the 'target' amount they want you to pay is set at the price of a couple of beers or a handful of lottery tickets, the hook is well and truly baited.

What a logical way for you to lose a few bucks! And you will. Whether you send out letters or e-mail, you will lose your money and look silly to your recipients while doing it. Again, we'll discuss that next time.

For now, suffice it to say that as far as this story goes, I'm convinced that Oprah never aired it. The only reference we'll confirm is that Aretha Franklin sang it.

'Chain of Fools.'

MLM Training - Don't Sell Your MLM Business Opportunity Short, Sort Your Way To MLM Success!

Author: Richard Knight

Have you ever fallen into the trap of trying to ""sell"" your MLM business opportunity to everyone you call? Or dread calling leads because you're wondering, how you're going to sell ""all these"" people on your MLM business opportunity?

I know alot of MLM Business Owners do this when they first start out!

In my early MLM days my goal at that time was to tell (sell) my prospects on what my opportunity could offer them if they joined or signed up.

But as I later learned, all I should be worrying about was what they (my prospects) could offer ""MY"" business if I decided to enroll them. Which should be your mindset as well. Because as you'll soon realize. . .

It's 10x Easier To ""Sort"" Than To Sell Prospects On Your MLM Business Opportunity.

And that's because, your job as an MLM prospector is not to sell your prospects anything. Your job is to simply weed out the ""Looky lous"" and ""Tire Kickers"" from your list.

And let's face it, not everyone is a Prime candidate for your MLM business opportunity. Because if that were the case, we'd all be making Six Figure Incomes lightning quick.

In fact, it's been said that more than 50% of the population are not fit to be in business for themselves. And what's even more frightening is that the majority of these people, ""Don't Even Know It"".

See, when you try to ""sell"" these types of people, they'll simply string you along, waste your time, your energy, plus your valuable effort simply for the both of you to ""Painstakingly"" find out later on down the line that they weren't fit to be in your MLM business opportunity or ANY Home Business Opportunity, for that matter.

But when you ""sort"", you weed these people out from the get-go. No guesswork, no wasted time, no wasted energy, and best of all no one to waste your time. And that's because when you sort these people out of your list, what you have left is worth it's weight in Gold. People who are ready to change their lives, not just some curious on looker who filled out a form.

So needless to say, the sooner you know how to ""Sort"" prospects, the easier your job as a prospector will be.

5 Key Attributes Your Prospect MUST HAVE Before You Show Them Your MLM Business Opportunity

1 .Desire - They must have some type of ""Passion"" for making a better life for themselves. They need to possess the drive to do ""whatever it takes"" in order to reach their goals. In other words, they have to want to be successful because no one else can force them.

2. Money - Money usually follows desire. If there is enough desire, money is typically not an issue. But let's face it, they need the money or be able to come up with the money in order to purchase your business kit or enroll in your MLM business opportunity.

3. Critical Thinking - Did your prospect review and understand the information? Did the information generate questions? If so, that's a good sign.

4. Decision Making - Can your prospect make the decision to get started if all her questions are answered properly? - If they can't make a Yes or No decision after evaluating your opportunity and getting their questions answered, they're just wasting your time.

5. Instructions - If your prospect has done what you've instructed, then it's fair to say that he or she can follow instructions. And if they can't follow simple instructions now, it'll be a big ""Waste of time"" working with these people later on.

Keep these 5 attributes in mind as you go through your monthly lead list. They'll save you a whole lot of time and will help you find MLM Business Owners that are less likely to be pulled and more likely to be motivated along the way.

When you prospect in this manner, you lead in with strength. It's not about you or your MLM business opportunity... its not about what the prospect said or didn't say in her survey form or pre-screen call... it's not about any of that. It's simply about whether the person is ""wired"" to be in business for themselves or not. If they are, then help them get the information that will allow them to make an educated decision.

It's as simple as that!

We're all looking for Heavy-Hitter MLM strategies that the Big Boys and Big Girls use. Well this is one of them. They don't waste their time trying to pull ""everyone"" into their business. They know who's right and they know who's wrong for their business.

They know all you have to do is find a few ""Right"" ones and they're business will kick off to a flying start.

So remember, ""Don't Sell Your MLM Business Opportunity Short, Sort Your Way To MLM Success!"". Your job isn't to ""show"" everyone your opportunity; it's to ""sort"" everyone who's right for your opportunity from those who are not.

Opt-in MLM Leads: An Overview

Author: Jimmy Sturo

In multi-level marketing (MLM), or network marketing, the MLM business owner recruits other independent distributors into his or her network. These prospects are called MLM leads, because they have shown some interest in the business opportunity. One of the best ways to contact potential customers or recruits is via email. The MLM business owner, however, must take precautions against sending ""spam"" or unwanted emails to people that are not interested. Thus, opt-in MLM Leads are the best prospects to contact via email.

What does ""opt-in"" mean?

The term ""single opt-in"" means that a subscriber chose to sign up for information from the sender of the email. The term ""double opt-in"" means that the subscriber has confirmed his or her subscription by responding to an automatically generated message sent to the email address. Using opt-in MLM leads give MLM business owners better prospects. One way to ensure the greatest number of opt-in MLM leads as possible is to use a leads capture web page.

An MLM leads capture page is a professionally designed web page designed to encourage people to request more information from you about the MLM business opportunity. This type of web site is valuable in generating MLM email leads, because the web site visitor is already interested in the business opportunity that the company is offering.

While a simple web site registration page may provide space for entering name and contact information, this may be an opportune time to inquire about the person's interest in the business opportunity. This task can be accomplished through a short survey included in the web site registration. The MLM business owner will then have the advantage of knowing that the lead is interested in the business opportunity, and that he is in a position to pursue it.

MLM Success Training- How to Find High Probability MLM Prospects

Author: Doug Firebaugh

MLM Success Training- How to Find High Probability MLM Prospects

by Doug Firebaugh

Now that you have come up with a list of at least 50 names in your network marketing contact list, you have gotten started.

INFERNO Secret:

If you do the Memory Jogger WITH THE NEW PERSON-you will get at least 50% more names than if they did it by themselves.

You must RATE them to see who the ""High Probability"" prospects will be.

What is a ""High Probability"" Prospect...?

GLAD YOU ASKED!

It is simply the person in your MLM Memory Jogger who will most likely be more likely to do some form of business with you then not...and you need to call on them first to get some immediate success.

Most of the time it will be people who will truly want to help you and want to see you succeed, and they may be few, or you may know a lot of them.

Many people waste their time on ""Low Probability"" MLM Prospects and it can discourage you, and frustrate you from day one.

Ok.

What do you do to rate them?

You need to ask 7 questions, and rate them 1-5, with 1 being low. And 5 being high.

These are the questions:

1)Does this person care enough about you to help you if you asked them to no matter what?

2)Does this person have a contact base that they have credibility in, and would be willing to call them?

3)Is this person open to new ideas and open to change in their life?

4)Is this person happy and generally positive with their life?

5)Is this person ambitious and willing to work?

6)Is this person open to at least trying a new product to help you?

7)Would this person let you practice a presentation on them to help you?

These are the questions you need to ask yourself about the person. If they score between 30 and 35, they are a very HIGH Probability Prospect.

If they scored between 25 and 29, they are marginal.

If they scored lower than a 24, they may be a good customer, but probably not a very good distributor.

But understand:

Human nature is a very funny thing, and there will be folks that score high, that may not be as good as you think.

And then there will be others who will score lower, that could possibly rock your network marketing world and mlm downline.

But generally speaking, the rating system was very accurate when I was in the field, and usually right on, but again, there were exceptions to the rule, as there are ALWAYS exceptions to the rule in MLM.

The first question is the most important.

If they truly care about you, they will do what they can to help, and a lot of the time, the ones you think won't be open to helping, can be.

Rate your Network Marketing Memory Jogger and then call the High Probability prospects...you will be glad you did in MLM and Network Marketing !

blessings....doug

Associated Myths in MLM

Author: Joseph Then

The MLM business is so popular among people that some of them are totally ignorant about the fact that it takes hard work and days of sweat to make it big. There are number of myths associated with MLM business. Whether a person is a fresher or an expert, anyone hardly knows about MLM business in depth. Some of the associated myths are:

Online MLM business makes lots of money in just one month

This is the most destructive myth among the lot of many such myths. People think it is the fastest method of getting rich. They pool in some money from here and there and invest them in MLM business. After a series of failures they realize that it's not just the money that is lost but time too. Only the established and experienced people earn about $ 1000 in a month or so. All those who start from the grass root level can never earn this much initially.

Companies lure by giving attractive ads

When some companies big promises it simply means that if you follow them you get ruined or the company gets ruined in a couple of years or so. Imagine you had made some residual income and lost it after a short span of time. How would you feel? A genuine business should multiply its own money and not divide it with time. Try to stay away from such lucrative but destructive ads. Don't believe them unless you find them out yourself. It can be fatal.

The more sales you make the more you generate money for yourself

The fact is totally opposite of what people think and say. Too many people come together and help each other but in the end make too little sales in MLM business. Distributors make money initially, sometimes quickly, by recruiting family members and friends etc to form a big downline. They get hefty commissions in return, that is how they make quick money. Gradually, all of them start losing all their money; simply because they couldn't mange to sell the product and all there effort and money go in vain. The bottom line is that you make money by enhancing your downline and not by making sales. Sales are the rare possibilities in MLM business.

You are the first member of the company's family tree and you construct the organization downwards

People jump and grab the opportunity thinking that they are going to be the director or the head of all the people they bring in to form a downline. They carry this attitude to work too and suffer all the more. Only with the passage of time do they realize that they are at the lowest level and there is no one actually superior or inferior to them. Ultimately they find out that there is actually no one in the organization. They begin and end at the same level. The factor or the attitude that works in MLM business is that everybody is at the same level. All of them should help each other and contribute their share of hard work to build the company.

In building a home based online MLM business, initially your work would demand you to bring in few but efficient people and provide them all the motivation and aid so that they make sales. Once the team is established and a helping attitude takes firm hold in the team, half the battle is won. To further build your organization just put in your heart and soul to it, nurture it, and let it grow naturally. Then there's no looking back. You would definitely make a mark.

Multilevel Marketing - Benefits & Drawbacks

Author: Chet Holcomb

If you've ever dreamed of running your own business from home, whether on a full or part-time basis...and are good with people but have very little business knowledge, then Multilevel Marketing (MLM) may be for you. This is especially true if you have a minimal amount of start-up cash.

MLM companies provide a product or service to the consumer via a network of ""independent"" distributors, who usually work from their home.

Reputable MLM companies also provide a low start-up cost, all the training you need, advertising in one form or another, and supply you with a product line-up or service to sell. They also allow you to recruit other distributors and make commissions on their total sales.

The United States Federal Trade Commission, however, cautions anyone from joining a MLM company that pays you for each distributor you recruit, as opposed to only paying a commission on the total sales they generate. This is called 'Pyramiding' and is illegal.

The U.S. FTC also encourages you to thoroughly research a MLM company before signing on the dotted line, and not to sign anything under pressure, but instead, take time to consider all the details. You can check out their Multilevel Marketing Caution Web Page at: http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/alerts/pyrdalrt.htm. On this page, they also list seven checks you should do before making your decision whether to join or not.

Research is always an important component of any business venture and considering a distributorship with a MLM company is no exception.

Searching the Internet under ""Multilevel Marketing"" returns a recipe of results. These range from government agencies, general information web sites, encyclopedia type sites to a host of disgruntled, former MLM distributors. People who are ""pro"" MLM don't write web sites on the topic because they're usually too busy building their network.

THE GOOD SIDE

Here are some of the benefits of finding a reputable MLM company:

- They have an established and very marketable product line or service, and strive to improve or add to the existing line-up. - Recruiting new distributors will be a streamlined process, and the company will not be involved in Pyramiding. - As a company, they will have a solid track record and good work ethics. - No experience will be required. A good MLM company will provide one-on-one training, as well as motivational seminars and a full compliment of training materials. After all, in Multilevel marketing, when one succeeds all succeed. - A reputable MLM company will be ""Family"" rated, meaning that crude conduct is not tolerated. - They will provide an excellent bonus plan with many incentives for those who excel. - Well-established MLM companies should be able to provide you with resource material to aid you in not only product sales but in recruiting. - They will have minimal start-up fees. - A strong support system. - You will be led by example. - Healthy team competition. - There will be a successful business and marketing plan in place that can be successfully duplicated by others, assuming they apply themselves to the plan and are motivated to succeed. - There exists the possibility of full-time or part-time commitment.

These attributes would definitely belong to an ideal Multilevel Marketing Company, however not all reputable companies excel in all these areas. Some companies will be better in certain areas than others. Do research on the company. Don't just accept the motivational hype used by most MLM companies in order to recruit.

Some MLM distributors are so highly trained that they have a ""come-back"" for almost every statement you make or concern you have. This would be considered a 'high-pressure' invitation to join. Always take time away to cool off - especially if you're excited by what you heard. Sit on your decision for a while and do research. If the company is good, they will still be there when you wake up tomorrow; and yes, you will get a follow-up phone call.

THE DOWNSIDE

While the MLM model can be a great tool to achieve what you want in life, it would be remiss not to mention the downside.

- It is easy to get 'taken' by a disreputable MLM company. Do your research. - If you plan on developing a network - a ""downline"" - it will cost you more money than you realize and take you longer than you think - although this is slight compared to the cost and time required to start up a traditional business. You will spend a lot on resource and training materials that you will end up giving away to prospects and to your downline distributors. - You might spend a lot of money on fuel for your vehicle, meals out, hotel rooms or neck surgery from sleeping in your car. - Some companies insist on a minimum monthly order to maintain your distributorship. - Some companies only pay you for recruiting other distributors and not on their total sales volume. Beware, as this is called 'Pyramiding' and is illegal in most countries. - While you may initially be led to believe that the products sell themselves and that you can make a lot of money with little effort, beware. Most businesses, whether they are traditional, online, or MLM, take a lot of energy and effort to make them successful. Consider a rocket: 60 - 80% of the fuel is used just to raise it a few inches off the ground. - Be ready for a lot of rejection. Approximately 80%+ of the people you contact will turn you down. - It is easy to get caught up in the 'dream' and overspend because, ""Winners always find a way."" It is also easy to be pressured into 'willingly' spending beyond your means. - It could very easily become your life's vocation, with everything centered on it. Some distributors even refuse to attend family weddings etc., because it falls on the same date as their MLM seminar. - Also, like most businesses, when you begin you will be spending much more than you make.

The final judgment: Most business entrepreneurs face the question, ""How much am I able and willing to lose if it doesn't work?"" That is the question you have to ask yourself before you get into Multilevel Marketing.

And of course, what do you want from life and what are you willing to do to get it?

If you enjoy helping others succeed so that you can succeed, are willing to take the risks associated with being in business for yourself, even on a part-time basis, and are willing to put in long days, then Multilevel Marketing may just be the tool you are looking for to achieve your business and life goals.

Here's to success!

Success In Online MLM Business

Author: Joseph Then

Meaning And Functioning Of MLM

Multilevel marketing (MLM), also known as network marketing, is a method of marketing one's products and services through a network of independent distributors instead of selling them through the conventional retailers.

Online MLM business is mushrooming day by day. With the increase in the number of people accessing the Internet, there have been immense opportunties for businessmen to market their products on a large scale. This perfect combination of time and opportunity has been exploited to the maximum in establishing and promoting the concept of online MLM business.

It is one of the most popular businesses as you can start it from home itself. The success of online MLM business lies in the fact that working from home gives you the liberty of working according to your comfort level. There is no one you are answerable to, it is not time bound and the best thing is that you are your own boss. The risk involved is worth it only if you are willing to work hard.

All it takes to do an online MLM business is a little bit of planning and hard work. If the business runs there would be no looking back. The biggest advantage of a network marketing company is that it generates a strong network of members and makes the entire business powerful. The concept of residual income is helpful in working from home within few years of getting into an MLM business.

Functioning of MLM

In a multilevel marketing business each distributor is supposed to perform two tasks. One is of selling the products or services and the other of bringing in some more distributors to sell the company's products or services. A chain of distributors is set up as each new recruit is supposed to do the same two tasks. The entire set up is like a family tree of an organization.

If a distributor sells the products, he or she is given his commission. If the distributor introduced by him or her also sells the product then he or she gets commission on those sales too. If the distributors meet their specified targets of sale they get performance bonuses too. Each distributor helps all those under him or her as he or she benefits from their sales too. This makes them united and helps the company on the whole.

To start an online MLM business first and foremost get registered with one of the MLM firms of repute and sell its products. Some businesses that you can consider for online multi-level marketing are:

- Marketing, advertising, consultation and some management work on computer.

- You can also sell some goods by retail over the net. There are websites of big MLM companies that allow distributors to sell the product via those sites.

- Business related to travel and tourism is the best option for online MLM business. You can sell holiday packages yourself or you can get it sold through distributors.

This is not the whole truth. You need to know some more things about MLM that would help you, sail through critical times and make you successful, for sure. Some of these are:

- You might not find the perfect people who would be qualified and would have enough money to invest in your business. Some might take it for granted and will not be at par with your efficiency and level of working.

- There would be other set of people who would be in a hurry to make it big and get rich. They might find everything boring and slow initially without putting in the right amount of hard work. They would get impatient. You have to learn to deal with all these and be patient.

- Apart from these people, definitely there would be some who would stick to your business. Expansion and contraction of downline are the part and parcel of this business. Your success depends on your perception and hard work.

MLM Training- The Secrets to a Successful In Home and Party Plan Meeting

Author: Doug Firebaugh

Network Marketing Training- How to do a Successful In Home Meeting

by Doug Firebaugh

In Home meetings (Private Business Receptions) are a great way to introduce your new MLM business to your warm market...and of course, there is a right way and a wrong way to do them.

What is a Private Business Reception (PBR)?

It is when you invite people over to your home and have a ""social-business"" network marketing meeting for about an hour or so, and dispense information to your friends about your mlm business and products and services.

It is a powerful way to create some ""instant success"" in your business right off the bat, and you can sell a lot of product at a home meeting, or as some companies call it, a ""home party"".

Network Marketing has used this strategy for years, and has proven to be a successful venue for your business. Mary Kay has used it for years, as well as Beauticontrol, Amway, and many others as well.

INFERNO Secret:

At a Private Business reception, ot In Home Meeting, you can talk to many people at once, which is more EFFECTIVE than doing all one on one network marketing appointments.

If you are going to be talking to people, why not talk to them in groups?

INFERNO Secret:

One of the biggest secrets to wealth in MLM...talk to the majority of people you talk to in groups, whether it is a PBR, or Business Opp meetings, or Conference Calls. It multiples your time.

Why do a PBR?

1)It is Comfortable.

Most people who you know wouldn't mind coming over to your home and seeing a short business presentation to help you.

2)It is Convenient.

Many hotels are out of the way to many of your friends, and normally, driving to a friends home is not sn 'out of the way"" thing...

3)It creates a very ""familiar"" environment for business.

Your friends who have been over at your home before, will see this as something that is ""familiar"", and warm.

4)It creates a great 'Social"" Focus as well.

Everybody likes to socialize, and we as humans are social creatures for the most part. This can be fun and even exciting if done well, and it has food involved as well.

I have done numerous (hundreds) of PBRs and let me tell you, they not only were fun, but we wrote business out of them.

OK.

What do you do?

A)Decide who you want to come.

Make a list of the people you truly would like to have at your network marketing meeting...and create a list of about 30 names.

B)Send them Invitations.

Send them an invitation in the mail about your meeting, at least 2 weeks before it happens.

""You are cordially invited to a Private Business Reception at my home on Wed. the22nd, to celebrate the opening of our new business in the Healthcare Industry.

You will learn how important Healthcare is today for our personal lives, and also how to take advantage of a Trillion Dollar industry that is growing rapidly.

It starts at --------pm, and will end in about an hour. Food and drinks will be served and there will be prizes given away.

RSVP.

This invite is short, to the point, and tells them what it is all about. There are many ways to write an invitation, check with your sponsor to see what he/she recommends.

C)Buy the food and drinks for the Reception.

Don't over do it. Sodas and finger foods are nice, and all that is really needed. This is NOT a banquet, but a nice reception to celebrate your mlm business.

D)Follow up with a phone call.

""Hello Nancy? This is Doug...I need your help on something...I recently sent you an invitation to a reception at my home, and I am following up because I really need you there...Can I count on you being there for me?""

INFERNO Secret:

KEY Phrase....""Can I count on you being there for me?"" will double your attendance at your meetings, as most people id they know they are being counted on will show up.

E)Make sure all Audio Video Equipment works...

That is self explanatory.

F)Greet them when they arrive with either a gift or food.

Make them feel welcome and many folks have given away book markers, or anything along those lines as a ""Thank you"" for coming. Food works as well.

G)Have a social time of about 30 minutes prior to the meeting.

Introduce your friends to those they don't know and make sure people are eating and drinking a drink.

INFERNO Secret:

Have a ""Host' Mentality. Be the host and make sure everyone is comfortable.

H)Do a short 20 minute presentation on the Company, Products, and Comp plan. Check to see what your company has available.

Make your presentation fun and informational. Ask a lot of questions to your attendees, and don't sell, but simply tell.

I)After the presentation, hand out the ""PBR Profile""... say ""I need your help. I would like for you to try our products, and also we are looking for a couple of people to partner up with to help introduce our program to this area. You may know someone that could use a secondary revenue source of an extra $1,000 a month. Please fill out the form I just gave you. There are 5 questions.

Name__________________________________

Telephone_____________________________

Email_________________________________

""Do you like the idea of (Whatever the benefits are of your products)

""Do you know someone who could use and extra $1,000 a month without changing anything they are doing?""

""What part of what you have seen tonight did you like the best?""

""What product do you believe will be the most popular?""

""Can you see yourself or someone you know becoming successful in something like this?""

This profile will help you ascertain who truly has an interest and doesn't in network marketing.

J)Hand out the Information Packets.

These simply contain brochures, audios and any other information piece you think they need...

K)Socialize again and answer questions, and set follow up appointments.

Ask...""Which part did you like the best?"" And then set up times to follow up one on one...

INFERNO Secret:

Have a few of your closest friends people bring a drink or chips. This will insure they are there and this works every time...

Also, understand the "" Law of No shows.""

You will have about 60-75% of the people that swear they will be there, not show up. Expect it. It is human nature, and it's par for the course for a PBR.

Yes there are exceptions, and pray you have 40% show up. WHAT A PROBLEM TO HAVE!!!!!!!!!

So.

If you want 10 people to show up, invite 35-4o, and you should have about that many show, and be thankful they do.

Follow up with the no shows and simply say...""I still need your help...when can we get together for 15 minutes?""

There are many ways to do a PBR and In Home Meeting. This is just one way, but a PROVEN way to write a lot of business in MLM and Network Marketing.

blessings...doug

MLM Matrix Compensation Plans --Words of Caution

Author: Bob Alter

First off, I assume you understand what a mlm matrix compensation plan is.

My purpose of this article is to give you first hand knowledge and experiences using matrix plans. Although this might sound like I am hammering mlm matrix's to death and also that I don't like mlm matrix's, that is not the case. I use matrix's as a backdoor method to my mlm marketing efforts.

However, mlm matrix's are NOT my primary business.

MLM Matrix Compensation Plans

Words of Caution: #1 Matrix compensation plans have not been around that long and they do not really have that good of track record. Very few companies have made it with a pure mlm matrix plan. Many of them have had to modify their matrix compensation plans in order to survive.

I read somewhere that only 9% of all mlm companies (and believe me there are thousands of companies out there) are using a mlm matrix compensation plan.

On the flip side (to be fair) a couple of mlm companies use a matrix plan and they have been around for 15 years. YES, they have made some major modifications to their compensation plans and that is the major reason they are still around. You simply cannot live on a matrix plan for long term success. Adding a uni-level plan or some other type of compensation on the backend of a matrix greatly increases survival rates.

Words of Caution: #2

Smaller matrix's especially those that have a 2 x or 3x first level will attract lazy mlm distributors.

More In Depth Coverage: if you can earn income from all levels in your matrix without having to sponsor anyone--will attract lazy mlm distributors.

A MLM Matrix compensation plan will attract State Attorney Generals, postal regulators and other regulatory agencies because it will appear to look like a pyramid or even a lottery. To top that off a MLM matrix compensation plan that requires recruiting will create misunderstandings between all parties hence, negative publicity.

Negative publicity will kill a MLM faster than anything.

Words of Caution: #3

Matrix's usually limit the levels you can earn income from. ""Hey Bob, all compensation plans limit the levels you can earn income from, so what's new""? Well, many things are different including how many mlm distributors can be on any of your levels. Uni-level plans have unlimited width.

More in Depth Coverage: Talk to successful mlm'ers and ask them were the majority of their income comes from. Levels 1-4 or anything below their 4th level.

MLM matrix compensation plans limit the levels you can earn income from and usually are structured like this 2x3 or 3x4.

Smart companies who use a matrix plan have added incentives to help the professional mlm'ers earn income from the lower levels. Some add a 100% matching bonus (more discussion on this later), others add a uni-level plan after certain levels have been reached, while other companies will allow for an expandable matrix. This simply means once you fill your matrix you are then allowed to start another matrix.

By starting another matrix you can then capture at least SOME of the downline income LOST IN A MATRIX that would have been paid in a uni-level plan.

100% Matching bonus | 50% matching bonus

You will see this a lot in a matrix plan. That is the companies simple solution to helping professional mlm'ers capture income below their advertised pay lines. ie: 2x3 or 5x5

However, if you take a 3x3 matrix and fill it up you will have 3 on your first level, 9 on your second level and 27 on your third level. By offering you a match on anyone you personally sponsor, you can receive income from levels 4, 5 and 6 if that person you sponsor falls on your third level. Sounds good doesn't it?

Remember, there are another 26 members on your 3rd level and you will never receive any type of compensation if you train these people to fill their personal 3x3 matrix. Why?

Because their new members fall outside your matrix and you didn't sponsor them. This is the major drawback of matrix plans. Yes, even uni-level plans limit your income potential below certain levels, but they include options that allow you to earn income from levels deeper than their normal bottom payline. Oftentimes, they will block you after someone in that particular leg reaches a certain level. Some even break off.

One positive to this spin is the fact that someone has to sponsor the new mlm distributor. Because you will receive a matching bonus, you do have a vested interest in their success. Basically, you will take a greater degree of interest in helping this person succeed. Without a matching bonus, this person would more than likely fall through the cracks.

Word of Caution: # 4

Let's get away from negative thinking and look at a positive way to build a matrix.

More In Depth Coverage:

What we teach our matrix members who join our group is this:

1. join only if you can afford the price of the product + monthly marketing costs.

2. join only if you are willing to learn our system within 2 weeks and begin to teach it the minute you sponsor your first new member.

3. join only if you are committed to sponsoring (4 new members if it is a 2x matrix or 6 new members if it is a 3x matrix)

4. join only if you are committed to sponsoring your new members within the next 4 months if it is a 2x matrix and the next 6 months if it is a 3x matrix.

5. don't worry about marketing we provide coops

6. don't worry about what to say, we have trained leaders who will help

7. don't worry about money, we are committed to helping you break even quickly and into profit soon.

8. Be ready to study this industry so you can become a leader ASAP.

Now, that is a long laundry list. And yes, we still have people that beat the system, however what we do have are new mlm distributors who join our team, knowing what is expected of them and what is expected of us.

Normally, our groups grow slow to begin with, once momentum kicks in we grow fast, we grow profitable and we grow stable income checks that keep growing month after month.

Normal compensation checks in matrix's grow the first 4-6 months and then they plateau for another 2 months before they begin to crash in less than 3 months. This is very typical of matrix's unless you have some filters set in place, up front.

MLM Distributors are always happy to join a matrix, however they are not happy to do all the work. With the proper expectations of your group laid out you will build a happy, productive and duplicating downline.

Right?

If you are currently in a mlm company that uses a matrix, please feel free to contact us and tell us your success/failure with matrix plans. There are always exceptions to the rule and we want to hear your voice.

God Bless and have a fabulous week.

MLM Funded Proposals

Author: Bob Alter

MLM Funded Proposals Generate Your Own Genealogy Lists

MLM Funded Proposal Defined

A funded proposal is the process of selling an inexpensive mlm product on the ""front end"" and then ""back-ending"" the real product or service (opportunity).

By following the M LM Funded Proposal the process will allow any mlm distributor (including yourself) to cover your advertising costs and allow you to generate your own mlm genealogy lists.

You must have the ""right"" product, that will catch the attention of other network marketers or mlm distributors. This product must ""HELP"" them build their mlm business or it will not work.

If you follow the steps above you will create your very own opt in email list that you can market to for many years to come. Do you ever receive some of the email promotions that state: ""I sent this message out to my opt in list and made $1238.52 the very first day"".

Beginning mlm'ers always have money issues. I remember my first several months with our mlm business, we had to keep a very tight budget. As our mlm downline grew, so did our advertising budget. Eventually our advertising budget reached $2000 per month.

By using the process of the MLM Funded Proposals it will allow you to stay in the business long enough to see the ""real money"" that any mlm business opportunity has to offer all of us.

One Company Fails and Now You Can Steal Their Secrets

A very smart mlm lead generating company opened doors a few years ago and came out with something called a ""MLM Funded Proposal"". The mlm heavy hitters flocked to this business in droves because it was an answer to prayers for some heavy hitters. Today, that company still exists but you don't hear much about them. Maybe, because they lost site of their primary goals or maybe the mlm heavy hitters moved on.........

This mlm company totally forgot about the mlm sponsoring secrets that so many of us use. And now these sponsoring secrets are yours to keep, use and prosper from. Want 10 straight days of more training?

This mlm company totally forgot to keep teaching, demanding and instilling in their mlm distributors head the importance of a ""MLM Funded Proposal"". Had they continued to teach these strategies, they would have thriving downlines and the walkaway income all of us dream about.

However, they didn't do it and fell into the kind of trap that 95% of the mlm establishment teaches and that is why this company is not growing.

You on the other hand, can now prosper from their mistakes and we will show you how to do it and more importantly how to get your downline duplicating your efforts, which means...........

Sponsoring the ""right crowd"". Does that sound good to you?

The Risks and Benefits of Free MLM Leads

Author: Jimmy Sturo

One of the main goals of a multi-level marketing (MLM) independent distributor (business owner) is to sell the product or service of the parent company. However, an equally important goal is to encourage the customer to also become an independent distributor within that business owner's network and sell the services or product. Prospects who may be interested in becoming distributors are known as MLM leads.

The MLM business owner can generate his or her own leads through referrals from family members, friends, and acquaintances. These leads can also be generated through a variety of marketing tools, including surveys, event or trade show promotions, and informative websites. One quick and convenient way to acquire MLM leads lists is to simply buy the list from a third party company.

For the new MLM business owner, these methods may be too costly or time consuming. One quick search on the internet will result in a plethora of web sites promoting free MLM leads. While cost savings are beneficial, the term ""free"" can also indicate a situation that is too good to be true.

If the business owner decides to take advantage of some of the free leads available, he or she must take care to look into the background of the third party company that is supplying these leads. It is also important that the MLM business owner check his or her list of free MLM leads against the Do Not Call (DNC) Registry every 90 days. This will ensure that the list is updated regularly and that the leads remain fresh.

The rarely told truth about network marketing

Author: Bjorn Hakans

Today I am going to talk about something that seems to be one of those things that people either love or hate. What I am talking about is network marketing, also called mlm or multi-level marketing. Right from the beginning I will say that there is no need to have extreme views about this, it is simply a business model that you can use if you wish.

However, it is crucial that you understand HOW the business model of network marketing works.

I think there are basically two reasons that some people seem to be almost electrocuted, simply by hearing someone mention the word network marketing. Either they have tried it themselves, and because they didn't have a clue on how to do it they failed miserably. Or they belong to the group of people who can't get the idea that mlm = pyramid scheme out of their heads.

This second misconception is easy to debunk. Pyramid schemes are illegal almost everywhere, do you really think large multinational companies could operate year after year on an entirely illegal basis?

Secondly, this view on network marketing shows that the speaker is ignorant. He or she hasn't done an ounce of homework on the various businesses that are available to each of us today, and they are ignorant of the industry itself.

This means they aren't serious. It means they ""would like"" to make more money, but have no intention of making it happen. They continually ""look"" for home businesses, which is enough to satisfy their minds that they ""did everything they could"", but everything they find out there is flawed and are ""scams"". They are looking to buy ""hope"", not a business.

There is a Chinese saying that goes something like this:""If you spend too much time thinking about your next step, you will be standing on one leg for the rest of your life"". Yes, there ARE scams out there, but mlm is not a dirty word and it is not a synonym for scam. Get over it!

*********************************************** BREAKING NEWS! Corporate America a Pyramid Scam? ***********************************************

As for the comparison to a pyramid in general - think of any company that comes to mind. The company will probably have a CEO, president, vice presidents, middle management, a sales force, and hourly employees.

It goes without saying that the guy at the top, the CEO, is going to make the most money, and the compensations continue to decrease down the ladder which starts at his cushy leather chair. The only way to get paid more and move up the ladder is to boot someone else out of their spot - and this is what people call okay and normal!

Not to mention the fact that the corporate slave masters seem to have no problem with working people to the limits...and then kicking them out the door before any of the benefits kick in. (As always there are some exceptions, of course). How is this any less pyramid than network marketing? All people in the company work hard, but ONLY those at the very top has ""permission"" to make a lot of money.

Now, in network marketing the basic idea is that it will be of great benefit to everyone involved to help people who are new reach the top. In fact the whole business idea hinges on this idea - the only way to become really successful in the long term is to help others. Of course there will always be a mathematical limit to how large a network can become, but with todays global marketplace, and a suitable compensation plan, there is usually plenty of room for everybody.

A network marketing company can diversify and find new markets, just like all companies have to.

But what about the miserable statistics of network marketing, the over 90% drop-out rate etc.?

This is mainly caused by the simple fact that not that many people know how to do network marketing correctly. And I must admit that some network marketing companies are responsible for this themselves, by providing useless ideas like making a ""100 list"" etc.

You see, this is a somewhat unique industry. Most people don't realize that network marketing is a business of marketing and promotion pursued by people who have NO IDEA how to market and promote.

Read the above paragraph once more and let it sink in...

If you are going to be involved in network marketing you need to develop both the right mind set and acquire the right knowledge (no, they usually don't teach this in college).

You must learn that when you do this business right:

* You don't have to ""sell""

* You don't have to ask people to join your business.. They ask you!

* You don't have to post ""work at home"" flyers!

* People will PAY YOU to prospect them

You should learn that this is not at all about the Vitamins or whatever product your company is selling. In fact, this is one of the single biggest mistakes people make in network marketing.

Signature Lead Capture Pages - How They Can Help You & Your Business!

Author: Carl Sorensen

If you have any experience promoting an MLM or other Network Marketing opportunity online you know all about ""replicated websites"" and that pretty much every Network Marketing company today offers this seemingly useful to all of their distributors.

You will probably agree that if you have had any experience trying to advertise these replicated distributor websites that the response has been fairly poor.

Can we agree on that? If the answer was YES then don't worry... You're not alone... Thousands and thousands of network marketers around the globe have and will continue to aimlessly spend hours and hours of time and oodles of money promoting these websites to no avail... And it's not their fault!

Replicated websites were never really designed to Make The Sale or recruit someone! But You ARE!

The truth is though that you still don't stand the slightest chance of making a sale if you don't first have the Name and contact details of someone who is genuinely interested in your business opportunity. The gold of the Network Marketing industry is LEADS without them you're NOT going to make money. Replicated websites were never designed for the task of generating leads.

Signature lead capture pages ARE designed specifically for the task of generating you a lead of the quality and responsiveness you desire.

A lead capture page is a very simple one page website that will provide a potential prospect with the most important and strongest benefits about your business and/or product. A well designed lead capture page gives the potential visitor the information they seek quickly and funnels them into an immediate decision making situation. They have been presented with the quick information about your product or opportunity and if they want to learn more they'll need to submit their information into your lead capture form.

We can take this one step further by creating what is called a ""signature"" lead capture page. This is a page that would be all about YOU, after all... you're unique and have your own story to sell...

A signature page would quickly introduce yourself, perhaps a short audio, and explain to the visitor that you have found something you truly believe in. Make your personal introduction Primary to promoting your company...

By taking this approach you are immediately taking a step up from your competitors and playing the game on a new playing field at the personal level. And that is what networking is all about isn't it? When a lead submits their information to your Signature lead capture page they are looking to hear from YOU, they have seen you, read about you and your experience with the business and possibly even heard your audio presentation if you have one on the page.

They are a targeted lead custom tailored just for you, wouldn't you like to speak with prospects every day who had actually requested information and were expecting to hear from you and only you? The ""Rapport"" building process has started in your favor even before they have officially met you, Think about it, this could be one of the missing pieces to your lead generation puzzle.

Pyramid Schemes Unmasked

Author: Jan Greeff

NETWORK MARKETING PRINCIPLES / PYRAMID SCHEMES

PYRAMID SCHEMES AND TYPICAL ORGANIZATIONS ARE BASED ON THE STANDARD PYRAMID

Characteristics · Large investment / Entry fee. · Products are unimportant. · Income comes from recruiting new members. · Those at the top always earn more. · Distributors end up with unwanted stock. · New members must purchase excessive stock. · Typical lifespan is 12 to maximum 24 months.

NETWORK MARKETING IS BASED ON THE CONCEPT OF AN INVERTED PYRAMID

Characteristics · Low financial input and little or no risk. · Value in products / services. · Income from product sales. · Distributors can earn more than their recruiters. · Guaranteed products can be returned for refund. · No need to purchase large stocks. · Stable companies with proven track records.

It is interesting to note that most commonplace structures are based on the standard pyramid, i.e. company staff structures, National, Regional and Local Governments, management structures of clubs, etc. This type of structure allows for very limited room at the top and there is no scope for progress beyond the top for those below.

The concept of an inverted pyramid as it is utilised by network marketing companies was initiated in and is still being used by the church. The main characteristic of this concept is that of support and caring. There is unlimited room at the top and every participant has unrestricted scope for progress, even way beyond their recruiters.

Waiora Top Recruiters Using Conversational Recruiting

Author: Kevin Paschke

When someone tells me their MLM numbers are down, I usually ask, ""How is your personal recruiting?"" The answer is always, ""down.""

No matter what the problem seems to be in your MLM, it's usually nothing that a fresh group of sponsored people you can help can't cure. If you want to make a solid part-time or full-time income in network marketing, you have to be persistent and consistent with your personal recruiting.

In interviews with top MLM recruiters nationwide we've discovered 7 critical themes that keep recurring.

1 - Recruiting is a process.

It is not done once at 9:00 a.m. or after dinner each day. It is not done the first and fourth Monday nights of every month. You are recruiting each time you share your products and business opportunity with any prospect.

2 - Recruiting is continuous.

It does not stop with the first, fifth or twentieth person you sponsor. As you recruit, your distributors recruit, and on and on. The top leaders we interviewed recruit day in and day out.

3 - Recruiting leverages your time.

The ten hours you invest in your business can create two to ten people who each spend ten hours. Your ten hours have now increased from twenty to one hundred hours invested in your business.

4 - Recruiting sets an example.

If I wasn't a top recruiter with my company, my group would never taken recruiting seriously. By consistently sponsoring 8+ every month (full-time effort), I set a bar for the leadership in my team. My wife is also a top recruiter (after learning Conversational Recruiting™). She sets an example for her team of ladies.

5 - Recruiting has no boundaries.

With your opportunity, you have the opportunity to build an organization across the United States and possibly the world. You will get financial benefits for the rest of your life on sponsorships made by people you don't even know. The sun may never set on your residual income. Great feeling, right?

6 - Recruiting increases your personal development.

Is it comfortable talking to total strangers after our moms taught us, ""Don't talk to strangers""? No. When you break through your comfort zone, you'll experience immense pride in what you can accomplish. And, once you get the habit of hitting your monthly recruiting goal, you'll feel awkward if you don't do it. Start that habit now.

7 - Recruiting is a highly prized skill set by companies.

MLM companies rely on strong recruiters to teach, train and duplicate. Big bonuses are usually in compensation plans to reward top recruiters.

Keep these themes in mind as you develop a strong and profitable business. This is an industry where you write your own check and it starts with consistent recruiting.

MLM Training: How To Call Bad Leads - Part 1

Author: Ed Forteau & Kevin Paschke

If you have been purchasing leads over the last couple of years, you have found that lead quality is way down. Let's be honest, right now there are very few quality lead sources out there. Every time we think we've found one, and recommend them to someone, we get let down - so now we don't recommend anyone.

Before we show you a highly effective method of calling bad leads, let's define what a bad lead is. We would define a bad lead as:

1. Someone who is not looking, or 2. Someone who has filled out a form for information but has received so many calls they are not interested in talking to anyone, or 3. Someone who claims to have no money, or 4. Someone who is not interested in this industry, or 5. All of the above

Let us know if we missed someone.

If you do what most networkers do when calling bad leads, you will first try to qualify the prospect. They will try to find out if they actually did fill out a form. They will want to know if the phone number is correct. They will want to know if the person on the list actually lives there.

All networkers do these things, and they tip off the prospect that this is a sales call. They also do something that is fatal to the networker...they hand over control to the prospect. Now here is a very important point: when a prospect is given control, and they believe they are about to be sold something, they will end the call.

Read that last sentence again, because it is very important.

Here is what most opening calls sound like:

Typical Networker: ""Hi, Bob. This is John Smith in Ohio. How are you tonight? Bob, do you remember filling out a form requesting information on starting a home-based business?""

Okay, if this is a bad lead, you are not going to get much further than this. You have just given the prospect the opening to end the call, and most prospects will take it. The opening was asking them if they remember filling out a form. Never ask that question. And - John Smith in Ohio? I don't know anyone from Ohio. The prospect thinks this is another amateur salesperson. How fast can I get this person off the phone?

Here's an example of another opening:

Typical Networker: ""Hi, Bob. As a fellow networker, I thought you might be interested in this business I'm involved in. Is this a good time to talk?""

In this opening, you've tipped your hand right away (which is okay, by the way). The problem is, if the prospect has negative feelings toward the industry, you just put yourself in a hole. If they don't have negative feelings about the industry, the next sentence, ""Is this a good time to talk?"" gave the prospect the opening they needed to end the call. We will show you what we mean in the next example.

In both examples, the networker is trying to qualify the prospect. If you want to be more effective in calling leads, you must try to disqualify the prospect. In Conversational Recruiting™, you will use three moves to open the call. The first move is to cause confusion. The second move is a ""set-up."" And the third move will disqualify the prospect.

Here's a more effective way of opening the call:

Conversational Recruiter: ""Hi! This is Kevin, and you are? Hi, Bob. I haven't caught you at a bad time, have I?""

So why is this opening better than the other two?

First, we didn't use the prospect's name. When the prospect's name is used to open a call, three bad things can happen: 1) The name could be wrong on your list sheet. 2) That person might not live there. 3) You just tipped off the prospect that this is a sales call (which is okay if you handle the next two steps correctly).

Second, when we said, ""I haven't caught you at a bad time, have I?"" we asked a negative question. You see, most networkers will ask if this is a good time to talk. The bad lead has heard this dozens of times, and has learned to say 'no' - which, in most cases, will end the call. The prospect has done this so many times; he now does it without thinking. But when the prospect says 'no' to our question: ""I haven't caught you at a bad time, have I?"" saying 'no' causes the call to continue.

The prospect is thinking, ""What's going on here?""

This is a very subtle, yet highly effective, move. The prospect gets a sales call, and they give their standard reply (which is given on autopilot). They expect the call to end (as it has dozens, if not hundreds, of times before), yet because of their response, the call continues.

The prospect then becomes slightly confused. When someone is confused, the last thing they want is control. They want someone to lead them out of their confusion. Who is in control of the call now? The Conversational Recruiter, of course.

And that is when you make your next move (which we will share with you in the next article).

Go back and reread this article. Read it several times, until you fully understand the subtle difference in the way the Conversational Recruiter opens the call. But before you start calling leads, make sure you read the next two articles, which will explain the entire process of opening a call.

Network Marketing Training- The One Question that every MLM Prospect is Thinking

Author: Doug Firebaugh

by Doug Firebaugh

There you are.

You are right in the middle of this great mlm presentation and then suddenly the network marketing prospect seems to drift off, and you are losing them. They eventually come back to you, but there for a minute you were a little worried about what you were doing wrong.

You were doing nothing wrong. They were just walking into THE QUESTION.

There you are.

You are in front of 50 people, and rocking the house with a great mlm presentation. And then suddenly, one by one, the mlm prospects seem to be somewhere else, and not with you. You look, and one by one, they are returning. You question what just happened.

Nothing.

They were just walking through THE QUESTION.

Every network marketing prospect that you have talked to, or ever will talk to, asks this question sometime during the path to the Decision in Network Marketing. We all make it, and we all think it with every thing we look at doing or buying. It is done everyday.

Many times, we ask it quietly, and other times we will drift off and think about it, and feeling what answer we can come up with.

Especially in MLM and Network Marketing.

What is THE QUESTION?

""What kind of VALUE do I feel this has for my life, and is it enough Value for me to bring into my life?""

You may not think those exact words, but you will think them in some form.

VALUE RULES in making decisions to change, add, or delete anything in our life. It is the same in Network Marketing and MLM.

The Next time that you are presenting to a prospect, make sure you POUR ON THE VALUE.

These are questions that your mlm prospect will be thinking:

How will this create Value to the prospect's future and family?

How will this create more Value in their lifestyle?

How will this bring more Value than what they currently have or doing?

How will this bring Value to their family?

How will this bring Value to their life and future that they cannot get anyhere or from anyone else?

VALUE is the KEY to unlocking the MLM Success Doors.

Are you turning it in your MLM and Network Marketing business??

MLM Training- Are You Taking Actions or Are Actions Taking You in MLM?

Author: Doug Firebaugh

MLM Training- Are You Taking Action or are Actions Taking You?

by Doug Firebaugh

In Network Marketing, I think you would agree, that most people will take some form of action in Network Marketing. Most always do, even if they are weak actions that produce little. They will ""give it a shot"" in MLM and see what happens.

They will take an action for prospecting, contacting, presenting, following up and getting the decision. These of course are the actions that drive new business. And because of the lack of results, many will end up being frustrated, discouraged, and eventually walking away mad at the industry and start a smear campaign to justify their failure.

They will blame MLM for their failure, and go about making Network Marketing the demon of their life. All you have to do is do a search on any search engine and you will see what I mean. There are many of the ""survivor"" sites that are excuse laden, and promote all the usual ""failure"" research that justify why Network Marketing is a scam.

And I will say this in their defense...some people out there in network marketing should not be in the business, as they do not do this business correctly. But you will find that those types of people in all businesses and industries, especially the entrepreneur oriented businesses like real estate, stocks and bonds, insurance, franchises, and even direct sales.

Even Corporate America is not immune to bad business tactics.

Remember ENRON?

Many folks who do leave network marketing wonder what they did wrong. What they did incorrectly. What they did that did not work. What they did that failed.

The answer is not really in what you did, but more in what you did not do. And it has really little to do with your ACTIONS that YOU TAKE in MLM and Network Marketing.

Let me explain.

There are 2 types of actions in MLM.

1) The actions YOU TAKE.

2) The actions THAT TAKE YOU.

What do I mean? Actions YOU TAKE are the ones that catalyze the response and results, and create the paycheck. They are what you do to build this business as listed above. These alone are not enough for Massive MLM Success.

Actions that TAKE YOU are actions on the inside of your heart and mind with the emotions and the psychology contained within them. Thye have EXPLOSION POWER that can ignite any action you take to have twice the HEAT and FIRE.

Actions THAT TAKE YOU are:

Totally Believing.

TotallyFocusing.

Totally Disciplined.

Totally Determined.

Totally Refusing to fail.

Totally Seeing the Vision.

Totally Expecting Success.

Totally Anticipating Wealth.

Totally Understanding Reality.

Totally Reaching for what you want.

Totally Knowing you will Succeed.

These actions ""take you"" totally to a new level of Power within you and your actions, and whole new level of IMPACT in the marketplace. They take you to a new perception of what you can do, and what you can accomplish. They take you to a whole new realm of expectation of results, and MLM Success.

And most importantly, they take the prospect to a whole new perception of what is possible working with you, as they ""feel"" that you are going somewhere and taking people with you. They are drawn towards you to know more about what you are doing, and where you are going.

All these ""TAKE YOU"" actions are catalyzed by one thing:

DECISION.

Once a decision is made in the heart to succeed in network marketing, these ""take you"" psychological actions kick in, and then, the actions YOU TAKE in the marketplace are:

TWICE AS POWERFUL.

TWICE AS SUCCESSFUL.

TWICE AS EASY.

Why?

These actions now have TWICE THE IMPACT. Decision gives any action you take twice the impact on the prospect.

How do you know when you have made a decision?

Simple.

No other option is possible. Period. No exceptions.

So, if you are taking action in network marketing, and want to massively Succeed, then make a Decision to create massive Success and that will alter your life and destiny, and everything you do in network marketing and mlm.

Then the ""ACTIONS THAT TAKE YOU"" will start to be empowered and catalyzed, and the next thing you know, you will be starting a journey of Massive Achievement in MLM and Network Marketing.

blessings...doug
